the band.

dabble is a three-piece Syracuse based band bringing you an eight piece sound. As a marketing professional and two city firefighters by trade, we set out to write and produce our own indie reggae EP. We also find enjoyment in finding rare and unfamiliar rock and reggae songs, disassemble and rebuild them, while adding our own spin.  We strive to provide attention to detail, both auditory and visually, to build a memorable connection with our listeners.

  • Brian Stevens

    PERCUSSION and SYNTHS

Brian has been involved in music, in some capacity, since birth. He is a family man, a special operations inner-city firefighter, and a part-time musician. And when he isn’t doing any of those things, he can be found thinking about being a family man, a firefighter, and a part-time musician. He typically takes all of his endeavors way too seriously. He has ambitions of building his cold tolerance in long ice baths, becoming a marginally decent self-taught sound and lighting engineer, and completing the ADK 46ers by year 2063.

  • Jane Brown

    VOCALS

Jane has been singing since before she learned to talk, and she is no stranger to live performances. She spent several years letting her vocals soar in various professional performance groups during her undergraduate studies at Rochester Institute of Technology. When not being a digital marketing Queen, she has found herself experimenting in the voice over performance realm (don’t be surprised to see her name attached to future EMMY nominations) and teaching her dog, Kramer, the finer points in canine etiquette.

  • Rich Adams

    GUITAR

Rich has always had a deep interest in various types of music. He is a self-taught guitarist with a variety of different influences. He has played guitar since college, but took a ten-year hiatus to focus on his family, and even turned down a job to become the lead guitarist of the world renowned band known as Pearl Jam. He is also an inner-city firefighter, family man, avid outdoorsman, and enjoys seeing the band evolve into what it has become in its short tenure.
